Minerals come from food, fresh fruits/veggies and grains.

Purificiation tabs arent necessary and not all that healthy if water is treated as in this video through distillation.
Iodine and chlorine arent what the body needs, water is
    Minerals and vitamins from food.
    Tabs for worst case SHTF

Came here to post that: no minerals in the water isn’t a good thing! If you’re in a place with no access to safe water, you should always carry purification tablets. Not only will they disinfect and kill bacteria, but they’ll provide the necessary minerals.

Dan, your videos are good, but too long and verbose. There is a lot of stuff that you can cut off and still be effective. Time is scarce commodity. Thanks though.

I know why you got …
I know why you got sediment in there. You put the copper pipe submerged in the dirty water. The boiling water caused pressure to build up into the copper pipe and forced some sediment into the clean distilled water. What if you backed the pipe up a bit so that it is not submerged? I bet that will solved the sediment problem. Thanks for the video! Great stuff.

    You should really …
You should really have used a larger boiling vessel and/or a lower boil. Watching your video, the blue bottle appeared to be boiling way too hard for the available space. When this happens, the distillation can “bump,” or push liquid (containing the impurities you’re trying to get rid of) over to the other side. Hard boiling is NOT good here, unless you have plenty of space in the boiler. Get it hot enough for steam to reach the condenser, and no hotter, *without* creating excess pressure.

    Solar stills can …
Solar stills can remove salts, heavy metals, bacteria, arsenic, trichloroethylene-dry-cleaning chemical and it’s proven to be highly effective in cleaning up water supplies to provide safe drinking water. Infact it’s life saving process if you are left alone in the sea or desert without any pure drinkable water.

    Stupid comment…. …
Stupid comment….Sorry..but stupid. Boiling water does not kill diesesed water, flouride levels or toxins. In fact pure distilled water does not even bubble when boiled because its pure water without contaminates. Keep your lack of knowlage to yourself please. Have a mc donalds and watch some MTV with the rest of the sheep, kill yourself on your own time without taking others with you. Misinformation is not for these vids. Peace

Once it boils it’s drinkable. You don’t need to make it condense. Just drink it from the blue bottle after it cools.

Hi everybody my name is Jimmy Carmen you’ve probably seen my show “Nature’s No Match” on channel 33. This is a great utensil for intense survival, I was able to make myself a hot dog in my surviving the Sahara episode. The hot dogs i made out of camel meat and scorpion meat served well to keep me alive. The fresnel lens not only saves energy, but also saves lives. I highly reccomend buying one on my hot line 1-800-SUR-VIVE.
