The union itself … The union itself isn’t the problem. The problem is that it’s being driven by greedy corporations. We need an overhaul of IP law, a rejection of the idea of draconian DRM, a more educated population which would choose ‘free’ software alternatives.
Granted that’s not going to happen but slowing down trade globalization (since there is no way to stop it completely) won’t help much in and of itself.
