No, they have never … No, they have never used the metal lead in pencils.Pencils have always been made with graphite, but it is called pencil “lead” because of the visual similarity between graphite and lead. You can look it up if you like.
that helicopter … that helicopter question was kind of deceiving. i think a helicopter propeller is not actually a helix, but a pair of rotating wings. a toy helicopter’s helix works just like a fan, in comparison to a helicopter which acomplishes lift through the bernoulli effect.
*feets* =^__^= I … *feets* =^__^= I always say feets instead of feet ‘cus it sounds cuter, problem is I’m beginning to forget its like ’sheeps’ and mooses? Not technically correct.. Worried I’ll use the word in an essay or interview (I’m sure there are situations where feet and sheep might be relavent?)
no - pencils … no - pencils wouldn’t work with lead in it, because lead is an (admittedly soft) metal, and you wouldn’t leave any mark on whatever you’re writing on (apart from scratches where you’ve been pressing too hard)
