How do I sync applications to my ipod touch?

Posted by admin on December 31st, 2009 and filed under applications | 1 Comment »

I just bought some applications on iTunes, and the applications I bought
aren’t in my iPod? Does anyone know why? I already synced my iPod Touch for a few times, but nothing is happening.

On the left hand side of the iTunes window, your iPod appears.
Click your iPod and it will go into the iPod options page.
http://www.pavtube.com/useful_tips/how_to_sync%20videos_from_pc_to_iphone_and_ipod_via_itunes_clip_image001.jpg

Above it will say videos, music, podcasts and Apps. Click on Applications

The Apps you have will be listen in a box and on the left of them will be a small box, If this is unticked, tick it by clicking it. This selects this App to be synced. Once you have ticked all the Apps you want. Click Apply in the bottom right corner. Then sync you iPod.
The Apps should be on your iPod now.

What systems are involved in playing a video game?

Posted by admin on December 31st, 2009 and filed under systems | 1 Comment »

What systems do you use when playing a video game and how are they involved? This is for a science project please help! Thanks!

it depends on how deep you want to go
to start off with you have the visual, auditory, skeletal, muscular, respiratory, CNS, PNS, SMS, ANS
Reflexes involving cranial nerves
Name Sensory Motor
Pupillary light reflex II III
Accommodation reflex II III
Jaw jerk reflex V V
Corneal reflex, also known as the blink reflex V VII
Caloric reflex test/Vestibulo-ocular reflex VIII III, IV, VI +
Gag reflex IX X

[edit] Reflexes usually only observed in human infants
Main article: Primitive reflexes

Grasp reflexNewborn babies have a number of other reflexes which are not seen in adults, referred to as primitive reflexes.[3] These include:

Asymmetrical tonic neck reflex (ATNR)
Grasp reflex
Hand-to-mouth reflex
Moro reflex, also known as the startle reflex
Sucking
Symmetrical tonic neck reflex (STNR)
Tonic labyrinthine reflex (TLR)
[edit] Other reflexes
Other reflexes found in the central nervous system include:

Anocutaneous reflex
Bulbocavernosus reflex
Escape reflex
Oculocardiac reflex
Optokinetic reflex
Photic sneeze reflex
Mammalian diving reflex
Muscular defense
Scratch reflex
Startle reflex
Withdrawal reflex
Crossed extensor reflex
Many of these reflexes are quite complex requiring a number of synapses in a number of different nuclei in the CNS (e.g., the escape reflex). Others of these involve just a couple of synapses to function (eg., the withdrawal reflex). Processes such as breathing, digestion, and the maintenance of the heartbeat can also be regarded as reflex actions, according to some definitions of the term.

How many inches does it have to snow in New York for their schools to close?

Posted by admin on December 31st, 2009 and filed under it | 2 Comments »

I live in New York and it is snowing!!! I realllllyyy want to have a snow day (on monday) and its supposed to snow steadily overnight until about five o clock at night tomorrow. So my question is- How many inches does it have to snow (in NY) for NY schools to close ?

Its not really about inches of snow, its about the weather generally. If there is lots of snow and windy and messy they will definitely close schools. I hope it gets that way for a few days after the break hehehe

Why is researching about other companies important for the company doing the research?

Why is researching about other companies important for the company doing the research?

It’s helps when trying to find out about competitors. Imagine you work for a cafe in a small town. You’d want to know how much to charge for the All Day Breakfast. Well a good thing to do is find out what all the other cafes in the town charge for their all day breakfast. If they all charge £5 then it’d be silly of you to charge £8 because everyone will go to the other cafes. If they all charge £5 then it’d also be silly of you to charge £2 because everyone would come to your cafe, but you wouldn’t have enough seats, so you would be full, but you could have made more money by charging £4.60.

Another thing to think about would be how nice their food is compared to yours, so if their breakfast wasn’t very nice and only contained a nasty sausage, a fried egg, and some beans, you could offer a better breakfast for the same price - two sausages from local farms, bacon, beans, toast, mushroom, egg, free coffee. And once you have more customers because they like yours better, then you could put the price up a little. The other cafes would be watching your prices too, so they’d keep adjusting. Such is the nature of competition. And how do the companies all find this information? Research. And research can be as simple as using the competitor’s products. (and in fact is exactly what happens)

What is the solution to remove hard water salt layer formed in the Vitrified tiles laid in our room?

Posted by admin on December 31st, 2009 and filed under solution | 3 Comments »

Due to hard water salt layer is formed in our room, where we have laid vitrified tiles and finds unable to remove the same. Is there any solution or chemical which can be used to remove the same at the same time the same should not remove the glaze from the tiles as well.

Here are a few things to try…I would test an inconspicuous place before going over all of your tile for all of these cleaners..

- CLR - Calcium is usually in the salt residues, this should work but may kill your shine..

- any citrus cleaner even lemon juice…the acid breaks down salt bonds.

- Acetic Acid (vinegar)

hope this helps.

How do i synch ipod touch applications and games to my ipod touch?

Posted by admin on December 28th, 2009 and filed under applications | 5 Comments »

I don’t have the latest update for my ipod but i made sure to download applications that were compatible to my ipod touch. I have ealrier versions of the game? So how do i get the apps on my ipod?

1) If you haven’t already done so, download iTunes from Apple’s website, for your operating system.

2) Create an account with username and password.

3) Authorize both your computer and your iPod Touch as "authorized computers for your iTunes account.Go to the menu "Store"-"Authorize Computer" at the top of the iTunes window.

4) Once you’ve done this, you should be able to select "iTunes Store" from the items on the left side and enter your password to start downloading applications.

5) Once you have the stuff in iTunes that you want on your iPod, they will be copied over when you do a Sync.

*Note - Your iTunes will retrieve and prompt you to install updates for your iPT, and your iPod will automatically indicate when App updates are available (a big number, white in a red circle) will appear on the App Store icon.

*Note - If you have wi-fi access wherever you find yourself, you can visit the "App Store" directly from your device.

*Also note - The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stores usually offer free wi-fi service, unless Starbucks, who suck.

What software can I use to manage my home inventory for reorders?

Posted by admin on December 28th, 2009 and filed under software | 1 Comment »

I have too many products in my home to order every year to know whether or not I’m short of staplers, soap, or something else.

There are Kitchen products, Office/Kids Supplies, Bathroom/Health care products that we constantly have to buy all the time, what software will keep track of all of these for me and also allow me to tally my yearly costs?

I know you can use MS Office ($$)
Try Open Office (0.00) :

What is the relationship of the digestive system to other body systems?

Posted by admin on December 28th, 2009 and filed under systems | 1 Comment »

If you can, please give an address to another website. I need to know specifically how this system helps other systems. All systems it helps. Please!!

The digestive system is key basically to all systems in a very indirect way.

First we must understand the digestive system and it’s function. The digestive system starts in the mouth with salivary amylase breaking down carbohydrates. As it is swallowed, it is propelled by peristalsis to the stomach. Once the lower esophageal sphincter opens to allow food to enter the stomach, the stomach begins to secrete many acids and enzymes to commence digestion of certain molecules. It should also be noted that secretion in the stomach happens prior to feeding (cephalic phase of feeding).

The digestive system works entirely on it’s own type of nervous system known as the enteric nervous system. This aids in the movement of food, the innervation, etc. Without certain molecules such as glucose, the brain could not function and the individual would die. Without proper release of intrinsic factor from parietal cells in the stomach, results in deficient vitamin B12 absorption which results in megaloblastic anemia.

Without the digestive system, nothing could be absorbed or excreted, which results in malnutrition and cell fuel insufficiency causing apoptosis. Also, the digestive system helps in excretion in the sense that you need bile salts from the liver (which come from cholesterol), to help emulsify and digest fat. Without these, the body would not be able to digest or excrete fat.

Remember that the digestive system helps degrade and absorb simple compounds such as carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids. These are the fundamental building blocks of our survival. A simple defect in an enzyme could cause death before adolescence. All absorbed nutrients are used to help the body maintain homeostasis. (sphingolipids such as galactocerbroside 3-phosphate, or any steroid hormone from cholesterol, or iodine deficiency causing decreased amount of thyroid hormone).

I Hope that helped
