Well, this is tricky as many of these instruments require a mic per amplifier. For acoustic guitar, small diaphragm condenser mics often give nice results. The Oktava MK-012 and Earthworks mics immediately come to mind. I would also pick up a Shure dynamic mic (SM-57 or 58) these are extremely useful and work well in a home studio environment. Honestly, for detail, you will probably want to get a large diaphragm condenser mic. These vary in price and quality…all sound different. A used Oktava such as the MK-219 and MK-319 can be had for a little less than 100.00. These can be upgraded later at oktavamod.com for a higher quality sound. However, they do sound good straight out of the box. M-audio makes some affordable large diaphragm mics. Also, a lot of people like the Audio Technicas (which can be had between 200-350). Check out the low end theory section at Gearslutz. You will find a lot of help there.

Any system stemming from the Unix architecture will be more secure and stable than "the other guys". If your keeping a mega database then security and stability should be your top priority and this is what these Unix based systems offer. Every OS has it’s faults and the only real fault I’ve seen with Linux/Unix is the learning curve when moving from one of "the other guys". Though, that’s not really their fault now is it?

First, I understand where you’re coming from. I grew up with really bad acne, not only on my face but on my body as well. It was embarrassing and I tried everything including cleansers, creams, prescription medications, antibiotics, over the counter medications, and even shots from the dermatologist (ouch!) to get rid of it. I never did until many years later when it didn’t matter as much.

Here’s what I found out after lots of research and trial and error, the hard way.
It’s not a topical issue, it doesn’t help much to treat it from the outside, it’s an inside job. When you treat it from the outside it’s like treating the symptoms, not the cause. You’ll hear from many people that’s not the case, and it’s usually because they want you to buy their creams or lotions, and keep buying them month after month after month (or they haven’t experienced the truth). Of course, when you stop using it (as you’ve experienced) your blemishes come back… because you’re not treating the cause. And the costs for all of these routines/drugs add up month after month.
If you think about it logically, it makes sense. Why do we get rashes, breakouts, or other skin irritations? It’s usually because of something we ate, something that wasn’t meant to be put on our skin, something that caused us stress and our body reacts to all those things.
Bottom line is that most every cause of acne is related to what you eat, how you feel and how you take care of yourself. Your skin is a reflection of what’s on the inside. We have lots of toxins building up in our systems and they have to be cleaned out on the inside and that will reflect on the outside. The blemishes, rashes, acne, etc are indications that your body is reacting to what you’re eating, to stress, toxins, chemicals, hormones… literally a great number of things.
Basically what I did in a nutshell was clean out my system by taking out the processed and junk foods, and added as much fresh fruits and vegetables to my diet as possible. This part is key. I also started drinking a lot of water daily, starting with 3 or 4 glasses when I wake up (adding a squeeze of fresh lemon at times). I also got more active every day, walking, running, sports, jumping, whatever, just getting active. It not only gave me more energy, it help flush out the toxins that were clogging up my system.

I used to be very conscientious but then it all fell apart and I dont get to homework till 6, sometimes 7. A lot of the time I’m eating, watching TV, playing on the computer. Sometimes Im cleaning my room or jogging (I dont jog when its sunny, hence the later times)
I also need to STUDY!!! But Its very hard to kick myself into a good homework habit.
What do you suggest?
You don’t have to do homework right after school…you can take a break or rest for a while, or even eat dinner first, then get to work after an hour. Once you start, make sure you finish the job! If you can, finish everything before playing, but if not, try to fit whatever you can in an hour or so, then take a break and continue it when you can. Also, try not to find excuses to escape doing homework- tell yourself that once its over, you’re free. Haha.
Whatever you decide to do to make yourself do school stuff, make sure you stick to that…Hope you get to doing well soon!=)

a client want to implement a network in her building, but she can’t decide on the technology to use. She inherited the building with some networking stuff in place, namely cat 5e strung through the walls and the ceiling to a central wiring area. All of the offices have RJ-45 outlets for workstations. What technologies could be installed using the existing equipment and why might you select one over the other(s).
If cat 5e is already in place leave it. Add a patch panel to tie the ends in if they took it out. Add a switch or two for layer 2 connectivity. If they can afford Cisco it’s worth the additional cost. Add a router or such for internet access and a firewall and your good to go.

You need to remove him from your Fans. Just block him then remove block. He can add you again though, therefore you can keep him blocked.
